NEWS ABOUT KUENG AIRGUNS

JUNE 2007 - HYPERMAGNUM PROTOTYPE UNDERGOES TESTING
We are very pleased with the way the Kueng HyperMagnum pistol performs. Both power and accuracy are superb. Handling and shooting the gun is an outstanding experience.

SEPTEMBER 2006 - PISTOL PROTOTYPE NEARS COMPLETION
As the workshop has been setup with the new machinery, the pistol prototype nears completion.

All the stuff not produced inhouse; raw materials like profiles, bars, precision steel tubing, screws, nuts, springs (including main spring), seals, and Lothar Walther barrel, have finally been obtained.

Watch out for pictures of the unfinished prototype and the first data!

JULY 2006 - NEW FACILITIES
We have finally found suitable facilities for the workshop. Manufacturing is planned to commence in August.

NOVEMBER 2005 - MOVING FACILITIES
An unexpected development: we are forced to move our facilities at the end of January.

Unfortunately we cannot anticipate when the re-opening of the workshop will happen.

Orders for custom works can therefore only be accepted until the end of November. (Note that the shipping of items in stock is not affected by this.)

Truly sorry about this inconvenience.

OCTOBER 2005 - MAJOR CHANGE OF COURSE
Our original idea was to just design and develop, and outsource the actual production of prototypes or any possible serial production. A number of unresolved problems, one being cost, have led us to believe that we must do all manufacturing in-house, with a few minor exceptions; specialized parts such as springs, seals, and barrels, as well as bluing/plating processes.

We are currently setting up the machinery that will allow us to manufacture airguns from the ground up in-house. This is also giving us maximum control over quality.

Watch out for some radical changes on this website soon to happen.

FEBRUARY 2005 - DUPLICATING MACHINE INSTALLED
The new stock duplicating machine is now in operation and works a treat!

We are proud to announce that our workshop is now capable to reproduce freeform 3D-objects from 1:1 patterns such as full riflestocks up to the following approximate dimensions:

X-axis: 200mm/7.8in
Y-axis: 800mm/31.5in
Z-axis: 80mm/3.15in

Suited materials are most species of wood and millable polymers. Soft metals such as aluminum have yet to be tested.

Reproducing items makes only economic sense if the number of copies is a minimum of 10.

Minutiae:
•Accuracy is in the range of ±0.2mm.
•It is not possible to trace stippling or checkering.
•The machine makes exact copies of the original.
•The original's finish may be slightly affected by the tracing through the stylus.
•It is necessary to glue two center bases onto the pattern. This also may affect the finish of the original.
